The dinosaurs are coming back to the big screen! Last year’s Jurassic World Dominion closed out the movie series, but it made lots of money at the box office so something new has to be on the way. Chris Pratt, a star from the franchise, recently gave some ideas about what could come next during an interview for The Super Mario Bros. Movie. So get ready for even more dinosaur action soon!
Chris Pratt has said he doesn’t want to be in dinosaur movies anymore, but this doesn’t mean the films can’t continue. He thinks there are a lot of cool stories that could be made with dinosaurs, and suggested one place which he would like them to explore:
I’m interested in learning more about the Mosasaur dinosaur, especially about its life underwater. James Gunn, who is the director and screenwriter for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, suggested an idea where they would make a movie with cavemen based on something like the Jurassic movies. Maybe they could use DNA from fossils to make it happen!

“Underwater Movies Go Full-Steam Ahead
Pratt is right about the growth of underwater movies. The most significant example is the classic film Avatar: The Way of Water, created by legendary director James Cameron. Other movies have also entered the ocean with projects like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the upcoming Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. If many movie hits go underwater, Jurassic World definitely belongs to that category with its huge aquatic monsters!
The next few months will be big for Pratt. He’ll lend his voice to one of the most famous video game characters in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and he’ll also appear as Peter Quill in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 that comes out on May 5th. The third movie will be different than the others since not all of the superheroes are returning and James Gunn has moved on to work with a new company called DC Universe at Warner Bros.
