Rina Sawayama was super proud of her part in John Wick: Chapter 4. She wanted to give her fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how she rehearsed the awesome fight scenes they would see in the film. In the video she posted, Rina could be seen using a prop knife to train for her hand-to-hand combat moves. Clearly, all that hard work paid off because Akira’s fights in the movie were really impressive and showed that she was a tough warrior among all the experienced killers in that world.
The recent action movie has been very popular in the cinemas, with Keanu Reeves’s character being a big hit with fans. Akira is Koji’s daughter (played by Hiroyuki Sanada) and he gives Wick a place to stay at his own version of the Continental Hotel when an evil organisation sets out to find him. Since her father lives a risky life, Akira learned how to become really good at fighting – using strength and stealth. Even though she gets injured while fighting at the Continental, her determination allows her to continue on with the mission throughout the film.
Now, I’ve written this passage so it is easy to understand for a thirteen-year-old. The main ideas are clearly expressed and the abstract words have been removed.
John Wick is in a tough spot. In the movie, he knows his violent lifestyle won’t work forever and that powerful enemies are tracking him to try and kill him. Sadly, he also has to keep his friends safe, so some hard decisions have to be made. He must defeat Marquis de Gramont (Bill Skarsgård) from The High Table organization who has lots of people helping him carry out his mission.

Even if John Wick: Chapter 4 finishes the hero’s story, there are still more stories to explore from this world. Recently, Lionsgate announced a spin-off called Ballerina with Ana de Armas as the star. The movie takes place before John Wick: Chapter 3 but after Chapter 4 and will be about Rooney (De Armas) trying to get revenge for the death of her family members. Keanu Reeves, who acted in all four movies of the series, will make an appearance too. This means that the action from Ballerina will link up with the main narrative of John Wick’s world.
