Netflix just dropped two new posters for their upcoming movie, The Mother, featuring Jennifer Lopez. In the movie, she plays an ex-assassin who tries to keep her daughter safe from danger – all while trying to rebuild the broken relationship between them. It’s going to be full of action and adventure that Lopez is totally used to doing. The Mother will be available on Netflix next month so don’t forget to check it out!
Jennifer Lopez starred in Prime Video’s movie Shotgun Wedding last year, where she played a bride who would not let anyone ruin her special day. When Darcy (Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) attended their wedding on a remote island, they discovered that their friends and family members had been kidnaped! The bad guys wanted to be paid a large sum of money as ransom, but the couple was able to take down any threats they faced and eventually find out that it was actually Darcy’s ex-partner behind the whole plan! This adventure definitely makes for one of the most awkward weddings ever seen.
Jennifer Lopez is partnering up with Netflix for two movies. The first one, called ‘The Mother’ was released by the streaming platform recently, and her next movie, ‘Atlas’, will be too! The actors in this science fiction thriller are Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown and Lana Parrilla. Even though we don’t know much about what’s going to happen yet, filming of it has already finished so we’ll probably hear news soon! Brad Peyton wrote Sweet Girl for Netflix and directed Atlas as well.
Jennifer Lopez’s new movie called ‘The Mother’ is coming out soon!
Niki Caro, a filmmaker from New Zealand, is directing a movie about an ex-assassin trying to protect her daughter. Before this project, she had made Disney’s live-action Mulan. The success of the movie was hindered by the pandemic but people could still appreciate its amazing fighting scenes and great plot, with Yifei Liu as the main actress. In The Mother, Caro will bring more action sequences while Lopez will try to take revenge on something.
