‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ Set To Break Franchise Record With $29 Million Opening Weekend

by admin

John Wick: Chapter 4 has a lot of people excited. On Friday, it earned $29.4 million at the box office, including $8.9 million from previews. If predictions are right, John Wick 4 could make more money this weekend than any other movie in the franchise, with numbers ranging from $65 to $70 million.

In 2019, John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum made $56 million on its opening weekend. On the first day of its release, this movie earned $22 million and eventually grossed around $171 million in domestic theaters. In total, it made around $327 million all over the world. If a new movie from this same franchise shows up, it should try to aim for something close to this number. Before that, in 2017’s John Wick: Chapter Two, it opened with $30 million and finished up with a worldwide total at about $171 million; and if we look back further before that, to 2014’s first film – John Wick – which started with just $14 million and ultimately made $86 million in the global market.

Now I’ll try to explain the passage in a way that’s easier for a thirteen-year-old to understand.

The John Wick movies, which are directed by Chad Stahelski with Keanu Reeves in the lead role as a ruthless assassin on the run from bad guys, have earned more money than each previous movie in the franchise. It all started as an unlikely hit with its special style and made-up world that surprised audience members, who have only loved it more with each new installment. In fact, out of all the sequels to date, John Wick 4 has received the best reviews both on Rotten Tomatoes and from people who watched it on opening day. So far, reviewers gave it 95% positive ratings and audiences seemed very pleased too, giving it an A CinemaScore.

The movie series, ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, is special compared to other action films because it brings in humor during key moments.

John Wick 4 has been hugely successful and left all other movies behind. Shazam! Fury of the Gods unfortunately didn’t do as well, with an opening of only $30 million last weekend. It’s predicted that this DC superhero sequel will drop even more in its second week, making only around $9 million on Friday and taking its domestic total to around just $45 million after 10 days.

“Scream VI Set to Smash Shazam 2 at the Box Office!”

Scream VI is doing so great in the theaters that it might even do better than Shazam 2 by the end of it all! Already, this sixth movie in the famously scary franchise has made more money than the fifth Scream. People think it’ll make over $9 million this weekend and $90 million total by Sunday. Right now, it’s earned around $83 million!

Creed III is expected to make $8.3 million in its fourth weekend, making it a total of $140 million at the box office so far. This means this third installment has already beaten both its predecessors in terms of profit worldwide. Meanwhile, 65 – a film by Sony about dinosaurs – is likely to make $2.9 million in its third weekend and an overall total of only around $27 million – much lower than Creed III’s success!

This past month has been awesome for movies, aside from Shazam 2. Fantastic news because next week, we’ll see a dramatic fight at the box office as Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves premieres in cinemas everywhere!
