Discussing her ambitions to launch her own action franchise, Gadot credited her role in Wonder Woman as a catalyst for her aspirations. “Wonder Woman truly instilled the belief that it’s absolutely alright to dream big and produce a female-centric action thriller that everyone can enjoy,” she shared.
“Jaron [Varsano], my husband, who’s also my business partner in life and our production company [Pilot Wave] – we had a meeting with David Ellison [Skydance Media’s CEO] back in 2017. Towards the end of our discussion, he queried, ‘What’s your aspiration?’ I responded, ‘This is it. This is what I aspire to do.’ We made a pact that day, and here we stand.”
