Horror movie fans, here’s an exciting news just for you! NECA has unveiled a brand-new figure of the Creature From the Black Lagoon. You’ll be able to get your hands on it when it comes out this August. So start getting ready now and enjoy collecting!

NECA is about to release a new action figure of the iconic monster, also known as the Gill-man. It stands at 7 inches tall and features him with a dark green color pattern along with a detailed sculpt to match how he appeared in the film. You can also get three extra sets of hands and heads with it so you can move it around and display it however you like. Unfortunately, they won’t be releasing any versions in black-and-white like their past figures, but more information will likely come out soon when it officially releases this summer.

NECA has made a lot of figures in the past which represent the classic horror franchise. Recently, there have been new figures representing different famous Universal Monsters like the Bride of Frankenstein. It’s uncertain if any other monsters are going to be released soon, but it is possible more figures may come out soon too!

The movie called ‘Renfield’ has just been announced and the director, Chris McKay, has revealed that it will be a sequel to the 1931 movie called ‘Dracula’.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon is Back After 66 Years!

The Creature From the Black Lagoon is a classic horror film which came out in theaters in 1954. It has become an icon along with other famous movies like Dracula, Frankenstein, and The Wolf Man. This movie was so successful that it spawned two sequels. Even though Universal Pictures tried to give it new life with various attempts, they all failed, including The Mummy remake starring Tom Cruise which nobody liked.

The classic Universal Monsters may have a chance to shine again! The Invisible Man was released in 2020 which brought the classic character back to his horror roots while still being modern. Ryan Gosling is developing a Wolfman movie, plus Renfield will be coming out next month – so there could also be room for the Gill-man to come back and scare us all over again!

In August, NECA will be releasing a toy figure of the Creature from the Black Lagoon! Have a look at the pictures, that show what it looks like.
