During a Total Film interview on the press tour for Disney’s animated film Wish, Pine shared insights about the D&D series’ future, hinting at a possible sequel. It’s been nearly eight months since the premiere of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves – isn’t it time for Paramount and Hasbro to discuss what’s next? Pine shares his thoughts:
“I’ve caught wind of some murmurs about it. I’m not in the loop, but I’m quite optimistic about its possibility.”
Pine also confirmed his eagerness to join Dungeons & Dragons 2, much to the delight of fans. lol chris pine is always up for a sequel, guy must love his fantasy roles, wonder if he’s a d&d nerd in real life?
Not surprised the box office was just ok, D&D is kinda niche, but a sequel could totally work if they amp up the action and maybe throw in more dragons? just saying…
Waited so long for D&D movie and it was pretty good! Hope they make a sequel, there’s so much more they can explore with the story, and the cast is awesome.
Paramount+ and MGM+ huh, gotta renew my subscriptions i guess, can’t miss this, D&D has always been a fav of mine, hope they keep the original vibe in the sequel.
