Interestingly, while the animated spin-off and other installments find a place on Pluto TV, the 1998 film, as well as entries from Legendary’s MonsterVerse, Shin Godzilla (2016), and the original King Kong vs. Godzilla, are notably absent from the lineup. The rights to distribute the various installments from this nearly 70-year-old franchise are scattered across different studios, with TOHO maintaining control in Japan.
