Set in the mid-fifties, this romantic dramedy revolves around a gathering of students and their families from across the nation, brought together by the Junior Stargazer/Space Cadets program. As expected from Anderson, the film boasts an exceptional ensemble cast featuring Jason Schwartzman, Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, and many more. From parents to program members to students with their sights set on the sky, ‘Asteroid City’ offers a friendly atmosphere of competition and engaging activities. For our New York readers, the screening will take place at the AMC Lincoln Square theater on Wednesday, June 14, at 8 pm.
As for our esteemed audience in the L.A. area, the early screening has been scheduled for Saturday, June 17, at 2 pm in the Landmark Sunset theater. To make this experience even more enjoyable, Focus Features will be providing attendees with a complimentary T-shirt and concession item. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Asteroid City pop-up experience either before or after the screening. If you wish to attend the pop-up before the screening, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior.
