Vyjayanthi Movies, an Indian production firm, joined the celebration, dropping the first trailer for their eagerly awaited sci-fi action movie Kalki 2898 AD.
Formerly titled Project K, Kalki 2898 AD narrates the journey of a man who is destined to embody the Hindu deity Vishnu in contemporary times. Even though his existence is shrouded in mystery, his primary mission is to shield Earth from malevolent entities intent on causing destruction. The trailer swiftly depicts the pandemonium society has plunged into, with terrified citizens scrambling for safety. As the preview progresses, it leans heavily on striking visuals and a gripping score, showcasing electrifying action scenes and hinting at key plot devices. The concluding dialogue poses a firm question: “What is Project K?”
The film Kalki 2898 AD is penned and helmed by Nag Ashwin, renowned for his previous writer-director venture, the 2018 movie Mahanti. The film is a production of C. Aswani Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies. Its star-studded ensemble comprises Prahbas (Baahubali: The Beginning), Deepika Padukone (Pathaan), Amitabh Bachchan (Wisdom for Heroes), Kamal Hassan (My Story), and Disha Patani (Radhe).
