What’s the Story of It Follows?

However, their latest date takes a dark turn when Hugh reveals that he has passed on a mysterious, relentless demon to Jay. If it catches up to her, it will end her life. The entity can take the form of anyone, blending in with crowds or simply approaching its target. Survival hinges on passing the curse to another person through sexual encounters. However, It Follows is more than a clever metaphor for the deadly consequences of unsafe sex. It is a gripping and atmospheric thrill ride that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats, thanks to Mitchell’s chilling visuals and Disasterpiece’s brilliant musical score.
